Marcia Tegg – Coley

I remember so much of the Coley days – everyone you mentioned was there and more. Mrs Dwyer was my aunt Beat and I remember that hill with happy memories. I lived at the top of the hill – 31 Garnet Street – I was born in 1948 & my mum and dad were Mr & Mrs Hughes [Carrie and Jim]. My Nan lived in Wolseley Street at no. 38 opposite the school. My uncle Will owned the Blue Lion on the corner and I remember those bonfires. I still see a few of the people from the old days. I hope this reaches you – I will write down everything I remember and get back to you. Ann Beavis gave me your details.
