Edna and Tom Hamblin sent a couple of photos to the Reading Post recently. I have copied them below – I hope the Post don’t mind – and I am trying to contact the Hamblins to see if I can get a better resolution copy. They are football and netball teams sometime during the 50s.
Ken Rose (ex 100 Wolseley Street) tells me that: back row fourth from left is Barry Locke and next to him is Syd Simms. Front row left is Barry Richards, Colin Rose, Tony Vockins, Alan Jenkins, Bill Purton, Jess Turner, John Mayo.
So far I am unable to put any names to the above – I need some help here.
